Ellington’s Restaurant Rolls Out New Seasonal Menu

Deep in the heart of Nashville and only minutes away from Music City’s bustling Broadway, you’ll find Ellington’s Restaurant nestled on the fourth floor of the Fairlane Hotel. This one-of-a-kind dining experience with a retro-modern twist, offers chic indoor and outdoor seating with city views that gives you the best of the big city with small-town vibes.

Nashville is best known for two things- country music and food. Ellington’s ever-changing menu offers an array of options created carefully for all food lovers to enjoy—music to your ears. With fresh seasonal ingredients and flavor-packed recipes, it’s impossible not to awaken your taste buds.

Ellington’s Executive Chef Chris Ayala took inspiration from the word-play when designing Ellington’s Spring menu, carefully curating each dish to perfection. Chef Ayala finds inspiration in the simple things. He believes the dishes’ taste and experience should speak for themselves without fancy titles and wordy descriptions. At Ellington’s, you’ll have an elevated experience without confusion about what you are ordering.

“What Grows Together, Goes Together” Pairs

Ellington’s team is always ready to guide and suggest popular dishes, drinks and pairings. Pairing the right wine with an authentic dish is like the first day John Lennon and Paul McCartney came together and created music together- it’s magic. One of Chef Ayala’s pairing suggestions is Ellington’s Ceviche Trio paired with a dry white wine like our, Mantel Blanco Sauvignon Blanc. The smooth, dryness of this Spanish wine perfectly complements the delicious, well-balanced flavors and tomato marinade of the ceviche.

Chef Ayala also suggests the Smoked Chicken & Gnocchi, a half-smoked chicken finished in the oven that includes fresh parmesan, tomatoes, corn and gochujang- a dining room classic at Ellington’s. Pair this dish with one of our medium-to full bodied Chardonnay options and the flavor builds upon itself.

Spring into Fun this Season at Ellington’s

With Mother’s Day this week, make your reservation and treat the special mothers in your life to our delicious three-course brunch on our newly renovated wrap-around terrace with a beautiful selection of curated cocktails. Returning this season, Nashville’s most poppin’ pop-up bar, Nash Vice. Dive into this South Beach-inspired pop-up with highlights such as tropical cocktails, Caribbean beats and fun, exotic décor that will make you forget you’re hundreds of miles away from the nearest beach.

On May 17,  join Executive Chef Ayala as he hosts Ellington's Company Distilling Dinner, a 5-course culinary journey paired with award-winning spirits from Company Distilling- a local Tennessee Whiskey distillery included on the popular Tennessee Whiskey Trail. This carefully curated dining experience will include new, creative dishes assembled specifically for this event by Chef Ayala and his creative culinary team.

Ellington’s Restaurant offers a tasteful nod to the familiar by serving nostalgic mid-20th-century staples updated with modern panache. A cultural outpost located on the 4th floor of The Fairlane Hotel, we are open daily for dinner- from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm or check out Happier Hour- Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.
