Emerald City Pop Up Bar

Earlier this fall, guests of the Fairlane Hotel stepped into the enchanting world of Emerald City, where the magic of Wicked came to life in an extraordinary pop-up bar experience. From the moment guests walked through our emerald-hued entrance, they were transported to a land of whimsy, wonder, and the unexpected. This immersive journey has visitors eagerly anticipating what's around each emerald-tinted corner.

In honor of Wicked, the Broadway sensation, coming into town at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), Fairlane Hotel created an Emerald City immersive experience true to our pop-up bar track record! With a Wicked inspired menu and drinks for guests and visitors from all around, everyone has something to indulge in.

Emerald City was designed to make guests feel like they were in the musical themselves, from themed drinks and small bites exclusive to our bar. The Witches' Chambers allowed guests to choose whether they were a good witch like Glinda or a wicked witch like Elphaba. Glinda's side of the bar was pink-filled, with glass bubbles hanging from the ceiling that offered an unmatched picturesque moment. Emerald City was inspired by Ozdust Bar, prominent in the book and Broadway show. There wasn't a single spot throughout the venue that didn't prompt nostalgia and photo-worthy moments.

Two cocktails from the Wicked-themed menu that were a crowd favorite weare:

  • Green Elixir: A Melony Mixture of Emerald Green Elixir Vodka, Miori, Orange Liquor, Lemon, Pineapple, and Simple Syrup

  • Lions Courage: A Taste of Brave and Bold Fall Flavors Pecan Rye, Pumpkin Puree, Spiced Pear Liqueur, Dark Chocolate Bitters

Fairlane’s Partnership with Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC)

Our relationship with TPAC goes back five years, when Fairlane first opened and has developed into a cherished partnership that supports and advances our rich history of performing arts in Nashville, TN. .

TPAC sits just a brief five-minute stroll from our hotel. Our proximity to the center offers added convenience for those arriving by car to catch a TPAC show. Periodically, we extend exclusive offers to TPAC patrons and donors.

Emerald City was not just a pop-up bar but a journey into the heart of one of Broadway's most beloved stories. With its immersive atmosphere, themed drinks, and interactive experiences, it captured the essence of Wicked and left visitors eagerly anticipating the next magical moment.
